Risk & Drawdown
Is there a daily loss limit?
Instant Accounts have none. Evaluations and graduated funded accounts breach at 3% daily equity loss relative to original size, measured from midnight UTC equity including open losses, fees and funding.

Instant and Evaluation routes differ
Instant Accounts have no separate daily loss limit. Their principal trading-risk restriction is 4% static maximum equity loss. Evaluations and funded accounts obtained from Evaluations have a 3% daily equity-loss limit, alongside 6% static maximum loss.
How the daily check is measured
The daily allowance is 3% of original account size, measured against equity at midnight UTC. Open losses, commissions and funding affect equity. It is not limited to closed losing trades and does not use your device's local midnight.
For a $10,000 evaluation, the daily allowance is $300. If the day's opening UTC equity is $10,200, a $300 equity decline reaches $9,900 for that daily check. The separate static breach level remains $9,400. Both checks matter.
A new day does not repair a breach
The UTC daily baseline updates for the next day, but the original static threshold does not reset. A breach is not undone simply because local time passes midnight. Check actual account status before placing another trade.
Common mistakes
- Comparing today's closed PnL alone with the daily allowance.
- Ignoring a floating loss or funding charge.
- Assuming Instant has the same 3% daily rule as an evaluation.
- Measuring the day in local time rather than UTC.
If your daily figure looks unexpected
Confirm the product and original size, then compare UTC opening equity with current equity and posted costs. Do not compare unrelated account histories or exclude an open loss. Ask support to review the account reference and time window if a discrepancy remains.
The absence of a daily rule on Instant is not unlimited risk: equity can still reach the static maximum-loss threshold within one trade or one day.
