Risk & Drawdown

What happens if I breach my account?

A breached account is disabled for trading and new payouts. Open positions close using genuine live depth when available, with exit commissions; no price is fabricated when liquidity is unavailable. A balance on a breached account is not withdrawable profit. Existing paid-reset options do not erase trade history.

Trading and new payouts stop

A breached funded or evaluation account is disabled for new trading and new performance-payout requests. Reaching a maximum-loss threshold is different from failing the funded consistency check: consistency can block a payout without being the same risk event.

Open exposure still needs execution

The engine attempts to close open positions using genuine available live depth and applies exit commissions. If sufficient fresh depth is unavailable, it does not fabricate a closing price. A pending risk exit can therefore require time before all exposure is fully resolved.

Do not interpret a remaining chart position during that process as permission to resume trading. Check the account status and recorded orders rather than repeatedly submitting exits or new entries.

Where the account appears

Breached accounts are separated from active accounts in Portfolio. They are not meant to remain normal active trading selections. Their history remains relevant for auditing the breach, fills and costs.

A displayed breached balance is not eligible withdrawable performance profit. Starting simulated capital was never cash available for withdrawal.

Reset options

Where a paid reset option exists for the account, use that documented purchase workflow. A reset must be provider-verified and does not erase historical trades or audit records. This article does not invent a reset price, discount, grace period or guaranteed availability.

Review what triggered it

Check equity near the event, open PnL, fees, funding and the account's correct rule set. Instant uses 4% static loss and no daily loss limit. Evaluation and evaluation-funded use 6% static and 3% UTC daily equity loss.

If the breach appears incorrect, contact support with the account reference, time and relevant position records. Do not open another profile to bypass a restriction or assume a new day automatically restores the account.
