The policy applies across relevant accounts

Perpify prohibits hedging. This includes prohibited offsetting positions or strategies designed to hedge exposure across accounts where covered by the applicable trading rules. Buying one side in one account and offsetting it in another is not a way around the platform's risk rules.

Long and short permission is not hedging permission

You can choose long or short exposure in supported instruments. Closing or reducing a position is a different action from maintaining offsetting exposure as a hedging strategy. Review the actual exposure and order purpose rather than assuming every Sell action or every position in another market is automatically classified the same way.

The published restriction does not provide a complete instrument-by-instrument definition for correlated or partially offsetting setups. Do not invent a correlation threshold or claim a proposed hedge is allowed because two symbols differ. Ask support before using an ambiguous setup.

Copy trading does not create an exception

Copy trading is allowed, but it cannot be used to bypass the hedging prohibition or other account rules. Avoid treating a lead/follower arrangement as permission to deliberately offset accounts. Automated trading bots/EAs are separately prohibited.

Why the distinction matters

The policy makes it clear that choosing a market direction within an account and arranging offsetting strategies are different activities. Perpify has not supplied a detailed public rationale, detection method, enforcement threshold or specific penalty schedule here, so this article does not invent one.

Before trading an uncertain setup

Explain the proposed accounts, instruments and intended exposure to support using non-secret details. Obtain clarification rather than relying on another prop firm's rules. The existence of order controls or multiple accounts does not mean every strategy those controls could create is permitted.
