How do I fix a chart or terminal problem?

Troubleshoot Perpify chart loading, local drawings, account selection, stale data and TP/SL saves while keeping trading instructions separate from visuals.

Check market, account and connection

A chart loading problem, a failed position read and an execution-depth rejection are different issues. Confirm the selected market and account, record the visible message and check your connection before repeatedly submitting orders.

Chart workspace and local saving

The TradingView workspace saves drawings, indicators and chart settings locally for the user and symbol in that browser. Reloading or returning to the site should restore that workspace. Another device, private browsing, cleared site storage or blocked browser storage may not have the same saved state.

A chart drawing is not a submitted order. Saved workspace data does not replace the server's record of position entry, TP/SL or breach status.

TP/SL troubleshooting

Use the position line's TP/SL controls and drag the relevant native trading line to place or move a level. Check the recorded position values after saving. Wrong direction, off-tick prices, a closed position or an inactive account can prevent an edit. A general horizontal drawing cannot act as a stop.

Stale or missing data

A candle feed can be visible while genuine execution depth is unavailable. Conversely, a chart can be loading while account data is already present. Do not interpret a frozen visualization as confirmation that an order failed or a position disappeared.

Inspect orders and positions after an uncertain submission before pressing Buy or Sell again. Refresh once if the read failed, then contact support if the problem remains.

What to report

Include the symbol, account reference, device/browser, URL, approximate time and exact message. For a TP/SL issue, include the intended level and whether the position table accepted it. Screenshots should not show secrets.

This article does not promise compatibility with every extension or browser setting. The goal is to distinguish a visual workspace issue from an authoritative trading or payment state.
